Musings and Amusings

A month into my blogging venture, I’m having no trouble creating posts.

Why, last week alone I published Help Wanted Posts for:

  • A WordPress expert
  • A Microsoft XP expert
  • An Apple expert
  • Two WordPress EXPERTS
  • A copy editor
  • Two executive assistants
  • One more WordPress EXPERT
  • A Therapist
  • A Cheerleader
  • A Bartender

Did I mention I’m looking for a WordPress expert?

  1. LOL! You’re doing really well, can’t believe you’ve only been at it a month. There’s no such thing as a WordPress expert but just shout if you have a query, one of us should have an answer…;)

    • Thank you, Lainey. You know how it is in the beginning – the ideas come a hundred a minute. It’s like I’m on a 24/7 caffeine high!!

      • Just try and find a way to switch off before bedtime! That’s when I suddenly have great ideas and can’t get to sleep…..;)

  2. LOL! Just hire the bartender and you’ll cover all your bases.

    • Ha! Great minds think alike. I considered drawing a line through all the “help wanted’s” except the bartender. If only I could find one who can write and shake/stir at the same time.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Hey you! I agree with Lainey, your blog is awesome! But I must be like you…always needing more… I found this guy, he’s got great posts on WordPress. http://www.bobwp.com/
I’m (almost) ready to subscribe to his new website with tons of tutorials just for WordPress, but I haven’t yet. I google everything. And I love learning. If you find someone different, give me a holler. But I love your blog :). Cheers!

    • Wow! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm, and your recommendation for “Bob”. I might not even need the bartender today !!

  4. The wordpress forum is usually pretty helpful. What do you need help with?

    • Awww thanks for the offer; I am, of course, exaggerating. The WordPress forums have been helpful and I’ve gotten timely responses to all my questions. I have slowly figured things out and that feels good when something works. There is one more thing I have to figure out on the Linky Link stuff – when I have time to concentrate on it. If I can’t figure it out, I’ll ask you for help if that’s ok. Thanks again for stopping by and encouraging words.

      • No worries, I used both the hosted and self hosted versions of wordpress for a few years now so I’m pretty familiar with the set up. Any time you need help pop by and I’ll see what I can do (or if I can find out the answer).
