The Answer is Yes

Nothing like taking on a new challenge four weeks into an already daunting venture.

“Be Brave, Sammy.”

At least that’s what I tell my granddaughter when she wavers at trying something for the first time.

Exploring some of the many “amazin” blogs in cyberspace, I was intrigued by the announcement on Damyanti’s blog about the A to Z Challenge occurring in April. Learn more about the month-long Challenge by clicking here:

What’s that saying, “Be careful what you click for”?

I clicked; I read; I said YES.

And that was BEFORE Challenge Co-Host Tina at Life Is Good promised me Swedish chocolate if I actually complete the Challenge.

On March 21, along with 975+ participants, I will announce my theme for the A to Z Challenge. I would be happy to announce it now, but I have been driving myself (and Hub) crazy selecting a new theme daily as ideas run rampant in my head.

Mark you calendars on March 21 for:

  1. I honestly can’t wait for the Reveal from people that are theming them! I have to also be honest and say that despite of 15 years experience of blogging in some form or another, this challenge is exciting and terrifying in equal measure, lol. We’re all in it together! x

    • Exciting & Terrifying – that’s a perfect theme!! I’ll have bartender and therapist on-call for month of April. Let me know if you need their numbers 🙂

  2. I’m laughing but worried I might need such help …..!!

  3. I didn’t have a theme last year- and not sure if I am having one this year either. Yikes! Better get thinking!

    • I decided I better pick a theme to reign myself in a little bit. I’m still driving myself crazy on the 26 Alpha’s though! Glad to know you survived last year and are back for more. Gives me hope. Thanks for stopping by!

Sammy D. You inspired me to try. I signed up. I am already overwhelmed with the task. I guess I’d better get busy, eh?

    • Yay, another sucker reeled in 🙂 I’m so glad you’re taking the plunge with me. And you, too, can borrow my therapist or my bartender!! I think with those GORGEOUS seed packets you’ve been posting you can likely find a beautiful packet and seed for every letter of the alphabet. Write what you know and keep it simple – that’s my mantra!

That’s almost what I had in mind, but x is going to be tough….although I have a few off the wall ideas.

      • I like the sound of off the wall ideas 🙂 I haven’t figured out my X yet. Desperation might require a typo !!!

  5. Welcome to A to Z and the theme reveal! We are glad you are joining us 🙂 I am looking forward to finding out what your theme is! (right after finding out what mine is… XD)
    cheers!

  6. Thank you for your encouragement!! I’ve gotten a rough, rough draft for every letter; now just have to keep working to make them short but interesting. Oh lordy !! I’m sure I’ll still rewrite plenty of them! Spent some time today reading your posts – storytelling by a passionate storyteller – I’m not sure I’ve ever really had that experience!! You sound like you are truly living your dream.
