Thanks for the big fright this Friday morning Sammy! I much prefer the beautiful spider and the pumpkin .. lovely picture!
🙂 thanks, Susan.
Awesome! Happy Halloween x
Do you celebrate it?
Ooh we do! This year Isobel is a bit too old for trick or treating with me and friends but a bit too young for going on her own. We’ve always been in the past, we’ve dressed up and gone to the houses that are decorated – there’s not many but we find some. I love it. It’s not very big over here with a lot of houses putting up signs for kids to stay away. I’m still dressing up though in case we get some kids to the house 😉 I’d love a Halloween in the US because it looks like such a big fun holiday!
Is it as big as the movies make it out to be in America?!
I think it depenfs on the neighborhood. Ours doesn’t get trick or treaters but sometimes a little vandslism! Boo 😦
There are lots of kids and cul-de-sacs where my g’kids live so it’s usually lots of decorating and everybody out on the streets. Some parents dress up and some turn their garages into haunted houses, which the kids love. A very festive. Ight and
lukily this year very nice weather for tonight.
Well we also had lovely weather but no trick or treaters so we have sweets galore!
I hope you bought your favorie kind since you’re now obliged to eat it !
Cool. Did you reblog your interview here?
Love,
E
Will reblog Saturday when I get home
Love the spider 🙂
Thanks! There are now 3 – our son gets his creative juices going every Halloween and his kids love it.
So much for my lame tombstone and spider-webbing on the porch…
🙂 beware! The spideys are multiplying!
You too, Sammy!
Thanks, Luanne!
What a fun decoration…that giant spider!!
Thanks, Paula! Our son goes wild at Halloween so every year he’s in the garage designing and erecting something new for weeks ahead of time. Then he starts in on his costume – always a hoot!
Stay safe!
Eeeek! Spiders! You couldn’t get me within 100 miles of that house.
Oh, it made a couple little trick or treaters cry 😦 but most of ’em loved The Spider House!
Ohh! So bigger spider. I think spider is searching my home lol. But any way Happy Halloween, Everyone
~Dr. Diana Hardy
Thank you! It was lots of fun with huge crowds to view The Spider House!
donna like donna like donna like ack hate big spidees on houses.
There were some big JUMPING spiders, too. We even made a couple kids cry. Bwahahaha
LOVE the spider!
Our creative son. Three big ones like this and two jumping ones. All home made. The whole neighborhood turned out 🙂
That spider…..I mean I know it’s fake, but the idea of a spider, even a fake one, that big on my house….*shudder*
The pumpkin on the other hand is gorgeous 🙂
Thank you, Celine. About halfway through the evening, I realized that a different spider – that jumped at me and trick or treaters every time I handed out candy – was going to give me a nightmare. I had so much fun! Our son is very creative and all the parents said their kids couldn’t wait to trick or treat at “the spider house”.
Oh wait you guys made the spider?! I thought this was a photo from the interweb – that’s amazing! You must have been the toast of the town!
Yes, our son made three huge ones and also rigged several other moving creatures!! He’s a Halloween nut:-)
Oh wow. One day I’d love to go to the US for Halloween. It’s never been a massive thing where I’ve lived but I’d love to see houses all decked up like that, it sounds like such fun.:-)
That’s one huge spider! Thanks for stopping by on my blog, feel free to follow. I’m a new follower now. All the best.
Thanks, Angie. I will take some time to read more posts on your blog – look forward to it!
Thank you and welcome. 🙂
Look out Spiderman! Your spider is so black and fuzzy I could almost be convinced to be friends with it. Almost … 🙂
I love the fall tangle too!
🙂 Thanks, Kirsten. I wonder where the spiders are nesting until next year ! They were a big hit with most kids but we did have a few tears!
Wow what an amazing tangle tingle lol that is truly spectacular. How long did it take you? Is that your house + spider! Sheesh I mean seriously how big??? Lol
Thank you, Justine – I worked on it multiple evenings. Next time I would do the web differently and a bigger spider 🙂
That is our grandkids’ house. Our son made three huge spiders and some smaller jumping ones. It was the hit of the neighborhood!
wow and i bet it was pretty scary at night, the spider that is not your tangle lol xx
Obviously I’m catching up and I’m late for Hallowe’en, but that spider is amazing. I can see why it would make some kids cry. I think it would give me the willies too!!
:-). I thought one of the creepy jumping ones would haunt me, but no nightmares yet 🙂
Yeah – I don’t think I would want to experience that one 😉
